The Historic Brookdale Lodge is proud to welcome master "ramshackle" bluesman, Vinny Johnson and his band on Saturday, October 5th from 7:30 to 10:30

Vinny Johnson has been entertaining Santa Cruz music fans for over two decades - playing his own brand of funked up blues, rock and soul. In 2006 he released his debut album "112 in the shade." Since then Vinny has worked with many Santa Cruz and South Bay artists, including recording albums with "Carrie and the Soul Shakers" and "Reverend Love Jones & the Sinners." The Vinny Johnson Blues Band features a hot-sheet of local musicians like Les Rosenthal and Rick Hoornbeck.
