The Rumba Madre
The Historic Brookdale Lodge is excited to present The Rumba Madre Latin dance experience on Saturday, February 25 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. There is no cover for this exciting dance band in the "Fireside Lounge."
By fusing elements of punk with Rumba, Son Cubano - "the Afro-Cuban sound" - Polka, Flamenco, Salsa, Tango and more, the Nashville-based band The Rumba Madre creates a unique transnational experience. With wide musical backgrounds and equally satirical and committed multilingual lyrics, the band breaks through the traditional standards of Latin music to prove that all boundaries can be challenged.
This is not your ordinary music and dance experience. The energy is highly infectious.
